Hello and Welcome my name is Nija Dalton I am the owner and founder of BU Salon & HairLounge located currently in Houston, Texas. Originally from Chicago, Illinois but raised in Houston, Texas. I am a licensed hairstylist of 19 years and counting. I am a mother of five beautiful and amazing children four girls and one boy. I received my cosomotelogy license from Houston, Community College, however I started my career as a shampoo tech while in high school. Hair has been my passion and purpose since a child. I have worked in many different roles on my path ranging from a shampoo tech to a full-service salon owner. Currently my passion has been geared toward helping up and coming stylist reach their maximum potential in the beauty industry as well as making sure my clients have a quality hair experience while in my chair and offering quality hair products.
